An Acoustic Powerhouse
Jack Lawrence is heralded as one of the finest acoustic guitarists in the country. Referred to as an "acoustic powerhouse," his musicianship on the flat top guitar has mesmerized audiences for decades. Jack's style is eclectic, encompassing Americana, blues, bluegrass and "sophisticated folk." Jack is highly regarded in his most prominent role as partner to Doc Watson. The two musicians have traveled the country as a duo for the last two decades, delighting audiences from coast to coast. Jack also performs as a solo guitarist/vocalist in venues nationally and internationally.

Welcome to my site! This is where you'll find out, not everything, but probably all you'll ever need to know about me. Feel free to poke around. You'll find where I'm playing, what I'm playing and why. If there are any questions at all, please visit the message board. I check in often and I'm more than happy to to answer any questions I can. I've just started recording tracks for a new CD. The working title is "Arthel's Guitar and other Inspirations." I'm recording music that inspired me to play many years ago, along with a couple of original instrumentals. It will be released on Little King Records.
